Real Madrid clinch ninth Liga U victory

Real Madrid beat Fundación CB Canarias 81-62, in the Liga U matchday 13 clash, played at Real Madrid City. Almansa (22 points) and Gunars (13) were the standout performers as the madridistas took their 9th win in the competition.

Our boys enjoyed a solid start, racing to a ten-point lead in the first quarter (21-11). The Canary Island side did their best to cut the deficit in the second period, but the madridistas continued their aggressive offensive approach to reach the half-time break 34-23 up.
In the second half, Madrid built up a +14 advantage (58-44, min. 30), and maintained their lead in the final quarter to make it 81-62. Another win for Javier Juárez's boys, who have now won nine games in the competition.
