Madrid beat Joventut in Liga U

Real Madrid claimed their 10th win in Liga U after beating Joventut away on matchday 13. Javier Juárez's men outclassed their opponents and got the win on track between the second and third quarters with a 50-21 run. Andrej (21 points and 31 in PIR) and Egor (18 and 26) were the standout performers in a team in which everyone scored.
 
After an even first quarter (14-20), the Madridistas stepped up a gear in the second. They maintained the offensive tempo of the start, with a distributed scoring (Serigne, with 9 points, was the best in attack at half-time), but they pulled it together at the back and put up a great defence (24-41, min.20).

Academy team gives Joventut no chance
Two three-pointers at the end of the first half by the home side had raised their hopes heading into the break. However, Madrid were resolute in their response with an even better third quarter, where they managed a 29-11 run in their favour. In 20 minutes, they had made it 35-70 at the end of the third quarter. Egor and Andrej, both above twenty in PIR, led the team to another victory away from home (44-92, min.40).
