Real Madrid secured their fourth victory in the U League after seeing off Casademont Zaragoza in a match in which they were far superior from almost the start. With this win, our reserve team remain unbeaten at home after five games. Illia (14 points, 11 rebounds and 18 PIR) and Egor (17, 6 and 29) were the team's standout players.

The start of the game was characterised by evenness. Javier Juárez's side forced their opponents into seven turnovers and were better from the three-point line (3). For their part, Casademont Zaragoza won the rebound and scored half of their points from free throws (21-16). But Madrid tightened up their defence and were more aggressive in the second quarter. They ran and picked up the pace of the game to pull away from Almansa, dominating the paint and with EgorGunars and Fabian leading the scoring (43-29).

Madrid give no chance
The reserve team remained solid in the second half and broke the game open with a +22 lead at the end of the third quarter. Ilia and Egor were the offensive leaders for Javier Juárez's team against a Casademont Zaragoza side that was never able to compete (86-58, min. 40).
