Javier JuárezAndrej, and Osa spoke with Realmadrid TV after our team was crowned champion of the U League against Barça Atlètic. The coach said: "It was unthinkable to have a calm final against a great team like Barcelona. Once again, we demonstrated resilience, as we have done many times this year. This is a team that, through injuries and special circumstances, has made us stronger. I knew that if we were to win, it had to be this way.”

“We are talking about some amazing kids who, in a situation like this, showed that they are made of something special, and it was evident. The players tried to contribute every second on the court, always thinking about the benefit of the team. I couldn't be happier because the most team-oriented group of all won. They are an incredible group.”

Junior EuroLeague
“We have one more to go, and that’s what so many players, especially Felipe, Madrid’s captain for many years, have taught us. That’s what they instill in us every day. Many of them have had the chance to train with the first team, which has helped them immensely because they share the court with players who are legends at the club. That becomes part of the players’ DNA, and that’s why we are here.

Andrej: "We knew we had to play well for 40 minutes"
"What a game. I don’t know what to say. They didn’t believe we could win, and now we’ve won two out of two (titles). We have the EuroLeague left, and we’re going for it. It’s very hard to play against Barcelona; they’re an amazing team, but we were ready. We knew we had to play well for 40 minutes. The whole time, we believed we were going to win.”

Osa: "We went all in from minute one"
"We were all cheering from the bench. We wanted to win from minute one, and we went all in. We are a very tight-knit group off the court. We’re always together, and we give it our all. We’re a team."
