Description

PSE, our local partners, are a Paris-based organisation with offices in Madrid who operate in Cambodia. This centre was created on account of the subhuman conditions in which the children were exposed to on the rubbish site at Phnom Penh's. A partnership agreement was signed in November 2015 and operations began at the start of 2016, with a total of 100 participants attending the centre.

Those selected to participate in the programme live in particularly conflictive family circumstances, in which they are exposed to situations of marginality, violence, abuse and/or forced labour and they find themselves in need of being integrated into society as children who are behind in their schooling. All of the youngsters are schooled at PSE's centre in Phnom Penh, which serves to ensure that they are closely monitored.
