Description

The Real Madrid Foundation’s is located in the country’s capital, Maputo, in the Xipmanine neighbourhood. The Foundation are partnered by the NGO CESAL, who opened the Maria Grazia Rizzo Community Development Centre with a view to increasing awareness of the value of education among youths and their families. It was set up in collaboration with the Khandelo Association and offers training in languages, IT, school support, a library service and other recreational leisure activities.

The socio-sporting school is housed in this social centre and the beneficiaries are local children and young people in need of support in completing their education and who come from vulnerable family backgrounds (with financial problems, unemployed parents, single mothers…etc.). As well as the offer of sporting activities, the attendees will enjoy nutritional support three days a week, receive a school equipment kit, extra-curricular classes and IT and English courses, as well as participation in workshops and talks on hygiene and health.
