Marrakech is situated in a largely rural province, marked by rural exodus and limited resources and infrastructures for education, health and sports.

The Real Madrid Foundation’s social sports school has grown in this environment to carry out its activity in the Dar Tifl youth shelter, managed by a local Association of the same name. It is a socio-education centre where children and young people live on a full-time basis and receive extra-curricular classes and education support, attend talks on healthcare and hygiene and participate in workshops designed to teach values.

Through the Real Madrid Foundation’s social sports school, the children can also enjoy sporting activity. The beneficiaries of the school are young people with no guardian and or those at risk of social exclusion (single-parent families with scarce resources living in shanty towns).
