Scariolo: "We have to be more focused"
"We made a lot of turnovers and they controlled the game," explained the coach.
Sergio Scariolo analysed the game against Paris Basketball, on matchday 25 of the EuroLeague, in the Adidas Arena press room: "Congratulations to them, today they were the best team on the court. They controlled the game and our rebounding because they made 19 rebounds. In addition, we made a lot of turnovers and they are one of the best teams at penalising that. We have to be more aware and focused."
“We came back into the game with character and went a point up in the last quarter but allowed a 2+1 to Hifi and a basket to Rhoden. Then we lacked discipline on a couple of shots at the end.”
Learn from the defeat
“This is a lesson for us. In the next games we won't have Maledon, who is very important for us when it comes to moving the ball and making the team play. We have to make an effort and for sure we will learn from this defeat.”
Position
“We're still at the top of the standings. We are in a privileged position, we have worked very hard for many months to be like this and we have an important stretch of the season now. We have to feel energised because every game is very difficult.”
