David Jiménez and Cestero have made their official Real Madrid debuts. The first was the starting right-back against Talavera, playing the full 90 minutes, while the midfielder came off the bench on 86' to replace Ceballos. Following the final whistle, David Jiménez spoke to Realmadrid TV: “I might just be the happiest kid in the world right now, it's a dream come true. When I joined the academy, I dreamed of nights like this and now it's really happening. Thank you to the coach, to all the coaching staff, and especially to the players."

“I was a bit nervous, but as time went on I settled into it. The help you get from your teammates is vital, they supported me throughout. I'm thrilled to have made my debut and got a win for the team."

 Chance to score
“I wish it had gone in. If I had the chance again, I'd hit it a bit harder. I gave it my best, so really I just want to thank my teammates. I felt really comfortable and at ease."

Thirteenth season with the club
“When I joined, the first team felt like it was so far away and today, it's a dream come true. Who would have told that little kid joining La Fábrica back in 2013. I'm so happy."

Cestero: "When the coach called me over I got changed in a flash and legged it"
“The dream of any madridista kid is to make his debut with the first team. It's a dream come true, I'm the happiest kid in the world. When the gaffer called me, I felt a little nervous but I couldn't wait to get on. When he called me, I got changed in a flash and legged it over."

“I'd also like to thank Arbeloa for the faith he's shown in me this year, and the coaching staff who have given me the chance to make my debut. I look up to loads of players, but in particular Casemiro and Kroos”.

Advice
“They told me to enjoy the experience because it's unforgettable, and to give it everything I had out on the pitch. I'm really happy."

What does the academy teach you?
“We learn to give 100% every day in every training session and to leave everything we have on the pitch in representing this crest, at the biggest club in the world."
