"You have to fight for every title, there's still a lot left to play for," explained Vallejo.
Lucas Vázquez netted a double for the madridistas against Numancia and he has discussed the quarter-final second leg clash: “On a personal level I’m happy to have helped the team by getting two goals, which is always amazing, and to be able to do it here in front of the fans. It’s not complete satisfaction though, we’ve not won so we can’t be entirely happy. It was important to get through the tie, we didn’t win the game but we’re through to the next round which was our goal”.

“We have to look at our mistakes and work on correcting them. The important thing now is to keep improving and working together, making the most of every game to show we’re the best. Everything is a priority at Real Madrid and we can’t afford to focus only on one competition. We have to go out to win every game and that’s the way to achieving great things”.
Message to the fans
“The fans should take heart from the five titles we won last year. We never let our heads drop and we’re going to give it our all for madridismo. We’ll keep fighting to the end".

Vallejo: “We have to fight for every title”
“We have to start killing games off and show more continuity in our play. We started well but then we lacked the consistency to win it. We have to keep working hard to get better and I’m sure we’re going to improve our solidity. Every game is a test at Real Madrid. We have to maintain our confidence and in the end things will turn in our favour. We have to fight for every title, there’s still a long way to go. We have to work every day, be consistent and give it all we’ve got".

Llorente: “We always want to”.

I’m feeling good and I’m happy, we’re competing in every competition and we need every player, we have to be prepared".
Llorente: "We’re in this together"
"We have achieved our objective of getting in to the next round and we’re happy because of that. We always want to win, this time they made it difficult for us and we weren’t able to win. Football is like that. There are times when things go your way and you’re feeling good and other times they don’t go so well. Every match is different. We won 3-0 at their place. We know we can work more, give more and improve every day".
Daily work
"We’re going to turn things around because we’ve got great players. It’s not a question of attitude or work rate. We work very well during training. Zidane trusts us and we trust him. We’re in this together and we have to turn it around".
