"On the 24th we're playing for the season; we know what the Champions League means to this club", said the right back.
Arbeloa reappeared in Vigo to play for Real Madrid following his injury. The defender reflected on what happened at the Balaídos: "It has been a difficult week. The draw against Valencia affected us a lot psychologically. We dropped our guard before we wanted to and everyone else slipped up; we could have been up there. The Valencia match was very important because we knew that Barça and Atleti had dropped points. The team was able to blame the effort we had put in to some extent".

"It's all down to the Champions League, it will be crucial to how the season is viewed. It's a very important title for us. On the 24th we're playing for the season; we know what it means to this club and we're focusing on that".

Isco: "We've let our intensity drop in the last few matches and it's not like Madrid"
Isco gave his analysis of the match against Celta at the Balaídos Stadium: "We've let our intensity drop in the last few matches; it's not like Madrid, which is used to fighting to the end. We haven't achieved what we wanted. Looking at how everyone else has slipped up we would have had a chance. Now it's time to hold our heads up".

"We've lost the Liga through our own mistakes. All we can do now is learn from it and turn our minds towards the last Liga match, which will serve as preparation for the Champions League final".

"We're eager to turn around the pattern of the last three matchdays. If we win the Champions League it will be a spectacular season; if not, it will be mediocre. The starting eleven is the manager's decision. There are two weeks left and whoever earns their place in training will play".
