He received the National Award for Arts and Sciences applied to Sport from the High Council for Sports in 2012, four Ondas awards, two Antenas de Oro awards and a Micrófono de Oro from the Federation of Professional Radio and Television Associations of Spain, and the Joaquín Prat Radio Award from the Spanish Radio Academy in 2014, among many other accolades in recognition of his remarkable professional career.
