Real Madrid coach Chus Mateo assessed his team's win over Fenerbahçe, which mathematically clinches home-court advantage for the EuroLeague playoffs: “We achieved what we came to do in this game and I'd like to congratulate the boys because they've done a fantastic job to get here. This doesn't mean anything yet but it reflects very well on the team".
"We put in a disciplined performance. We set it up well in the first half and in the second, we really stepped up in defense and brought Fenerbahce's numbers right down, which is no mean feat. We restricted them to 31 points in the second half. This is the way path we must follow, I'm really pleased. We have three Regular Season games left to play and we'll continue to give it our all".
