Benzema, Modrić and Courtois named in 2022 FIFA FIFPro World11

Benzema, Modrić and Courtois have been named in the 2022 FIFA FIFPro World11, which has been chosen from the votes of thousands of professional footballers from around the world and was announced at The Best Awards gala. Alongside the three Real Madrid stars are Achraf, João Cancelo, João Cancelo, Van Dijk, De Bruyne, Casemiro, Messi, Mbappé and Haaland, who are also in the best XI of the year.
 
This is the sixth time Modrić has been selected in this dream team (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) after a fantastic 2022 where he won the Champions League, LaLiga, the Uefa Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup with Real Madrid, where he was voted MVP in the final. As captain of the Croatian national team, he led his country to third place at the World Cup in Qatar.
 
Meanwhile, Courtois and Benzema feature for the first time in the FIFA FIFPro World11. They made it thanks to a remarkable year during which they were instrumental in all four of our team's trophies. The captain, who claimed the Ballon d'Or, was top scorer in the league and the Champions League, while Courtois was MVP in the final of the Decimocuarta.
