The star of this week's instalment of Historic Goals is Ronaldo. The Brazilian arrived at Real Madrid in the summer of 2002 having been crowned world champion in the Japan and South Korea World Cup, where he also took the Golden Boot. One of the greatest strikers in history, he made a name for himself thanks to his pace, power and dribbling, not to mention his eye for goal.
In the 2002/03 campaign, Real Madrid headed to Son Moix on LaLiga matchday 13. The forward struck a double which helped the team to three points and a 1-5 rout. Today's goal saw Ronaldo pick up a block on the edge of the box, beat his marker and shoot across goal and into the back of the net with his left foot.
