Chus Mateo: “We delivered a good performance at a tough court"

Real Madrid coach Chus Mateo assessed the team's 69-94 win at Baxi Manresa: “We delivered a good performance at a tough court against opponents who have been playing much better. They play really quickly, with a lot of the ball and we had to make sure we stopped their running. You can never step off the gas when you're up against a team like this. We attacked really well and that helped. We picked our shots brilliantly, had great numbers and finished with a basket time and again which meant they didn't get chance to run".

“We were good in offense, we rebounded pretty well, especially in the first half. I'm pleased because everyone got some game time and had important roles to play. The Euroleague game against Barça demanded a lot of us and then we were coming to the home of a team who are in need of victories. We knew it wouldn't be easy and we showed great focus from the off, played some good basketball and built up a decent lead. We were good at the back as well".
