The team begin preparations for San Mamés trip

The squad worked out at Real Madrid City as they begin preparations for their visit to San Mamés. After the win over Villarreal to book a place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals, Ancelotti's team face Athletic on LaLiga matchday 18 (Sunday, 9:00pm CET).

The players kicked the session off in the gym, before moving out onto the pitch to complete a series of passing and pressing drills. They finished off with different games on reduced-size pitches. Alaba, Lucas Vázquez and Tchouameni continue with their recovery programs.
