The project, developed alongside Sheikh Ahmed Charity Foundation, will benefit 300 young people.
Iker Casillas, deputy director general of the Real Madrid Foundation, has visited Real Madrid Foundation's socio-sports school in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). He was received by the youngsters and their families with great enthusiasm at the Armed Forces Officers Club facilities.
The socio-sports school of football and values in Abu Dhabi, which marked its 10th anniversary last season, has been developed with Baniyas along with the Sheikh Ahmed Charity Foundation, an ally which has shown immense commitment to the education in values through sport in the Middle East.
300 children benefit from a project which is renowned for its positive impact on the social integration of young people from Arab immigrant communities every season. Socio-sports projects have been set up in Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan all thanks to the support provided by the partner over the last few years. “We have been improving the lives of youngsters via education, sports and universally positive values.” Casillas said.
