Tavares: “We're going to fight until the end”

“We've won once already this year at Palau and we can do it again”, explained the center.

Walter Tavares gave a virtual press conference ahead of the second game in the league final, which will be played at the Palau Blaugrana (Tuesday, 10pm CEST): "We've got one more chance to battle for the league title and we're going to do just that. There's no other way. We're going to fight until the end and we'll see what happens in the match. We have to go to Barcelona and win in order to tie the series. We've done it once already this year and we can do it again. We have to believe that we can win because if we go there thinking otherwise we won't succeed".

"We must look to match their energy and physicality, starting as good as possible and staying focused for the 40 minutes to get the win. We're not going there feeling sorry for ourselves. We must go there and work twice as hard in order to force the third game at home. We had a game plan and there're no excuses. It worked for them and it didn't for us, we did everything we could to win the second game".

We've come through some very difficult times and the team knows how to face them.

"We can take confidence from what we've been doing all season. We've got through some very difficult moments and the team knows how to face them. We're going to give everything we've got and fight for our lives. When the team is on the ropes, it always finds something extra to survive".
