Ramos: “We need to stay positive and get off this bad run as soon as we can”

“We created loads of chances and their goalkeeper was the Man of the Match”, admitted Ceballos.
After the match against Levante, Sergio Ramos spoke to the press: " We need to stay positive and get off this bad run as soon as we can." We have time to do that, the team have kept that belief and we looked more convincing in the second half. In terms of the bad result, the Madridista fans saw that the team gave everything, we didn’t have much luck, we haven’t had much in the last few matches".

"Our attitude is unshakable and I don’t think we can be reproached for that. This is just a run we have to go through and it should not be a mind-set that lasts, so the sooner we win and ease the pressure on ourselves, the better. I don’t see the point in people speaking about it now. Many critics have come out of the woodwork and it is normal that people criticise us. We need to have the hard-working mentality and persevere. The good thing is that on Tuesday we have another game to approach and, if we win that, people change their tune."

400 games in LaLiga
"This is not the best day for personal records. Playing 400 matches in LaLiga for Real Madrid is all well and good, but the result has sullied everything. Two mistakes sentenced the game in the first half and Levante were under pressure in the second half after creating some real dangerous chances."

Ramos: "We need to be even more united than ever, that's the way to move forward".

"Criticism is normal. Not just towards Julen. We are all getting it, and those who get more game time get more criticism. It is normal for our fans to react like this and feel frustrated. We need to be even more united than ever, that's the way to move forward. Changing coaches never do any good for the group. We stand with Julen, he is a brilliant coach and now we need to be calmer than ever".

Ceballos: "We gave it our all till the end"
"We're not in a good place right now. We came into the game on the back of some poor results and we should have beaten Levante here. We kept going right until the death, but it wasn't meant to be. We created loads of chances and their goalkeeper was the Man of the Match. We've now got to look back on it and see where we went wrong because we can't be losing so many games in a row".

"We've got to improve in front of goal. We've just suffered back-to-back defeats and are two points off top spot. This was an ideal time to go top but we've failed to take our chance. We've got to stand up and be counted on Tuesday and get back to winning ways, which is what the best club in the world deserves. I trust the gaffer and we're all 100% behind him".
