“In the end we lost because of little details”, declared Nacho.
Borja Mayoral, who scored at the Sánchez-Pizjuán, spoke to the press after the Sevilla game: “It was bittersweet. We had some control over the game and the team did not play badly. We have to train hard every day and win every game in LaLiga that we have left in order to rank as high as possible and go into the final in Kiev feeling confident. I hope we can win the Champions League, it really is a fantastic competition”.

“I work hard every day in order to get my chances and when I get them, I try to make the most of it by scoring goals and playing well. We are Real Madrid, we did well out there. Ceballos is a great player, true professional and I think he showed that”.

Nacho: “We lost because of little details”
“I thought we started off in the right manner, dominated with the ball and created some chances. We were comfortable out on the pitch but before the break we found ourselves behind due to goals that caught us off balance”.

Vallejo: "We went out with the same intensity and concentración as we do in every game but sometimes things do not work out".

“We lacked a spark for those goals. We were looking good, had Sevilla pegged back, but we were not sharp in those two moments are it completely changed the game. The players who have had fewer minutes were really impressive. It is a difficult place to come to. But I think we had some chances, we even missed a penalty, and in the end those little details cost us”.

Vallejo: “We just needed a little more to turn the game around”
“In the second half we took it up a gear and we just needed a little more to turn the game around. We went out with the same intensity and concentration as we do in every game but sometimes things do not work out. We need to keep going, think about things, recover and prepare well for Saturday's game and the Villarreal game to go over to Kiev in the best possible manner. The coach says the biggest part of the season is still to come and we have to stay positive”.
Starting the game
