“It's reward for our hard work and sacrifice”, said the captain.
Another magical night for Sergio Ramos was written in the stars. The Whites' captain was chosen MVP in the Champions League final after scoring to make it 1-0 and then converting from the spot in the penalty shootout. He opened the scoring with 15 minutes gone after a Kroos free-kick was headed into his path by Bale. And he also scored the fourth spot-kick in the shooutout which would bring home the Undécima. Ramos was decisive once again in a Champions League final against Atlético.

"It's reward for our hard work and sacrifice”
“We had a unique opportunity to make history after a tough season, with some real ups and downs, and we've been repayed with this title. It's reward for the hard work and sacrifice. We played a good match and football has two sides: one team win and the other loses, so we have to congratulate Atlético on their fantastic season”.
