In the squad for the first European Cup
He was part of one of the best generations of footballers in history. Wilson played with Real Madrid's first team in the 1955/56 season and went down in history as a member of the squad which won the first European Cup.
A teammate of other legends like as Miguel Muñoz, Zárraga, Gento and Di Stéfano, Wilson also played in the First Division with Alavés, before making his official debut for Real Madrid, Zaragoza and Racing Santander. He passed away on 12 July 2021, aged 87.
