Position: Goalkeeper

Casilla kicked off his career at Real Madrid in 2000, when he joined the youth ranks. He developed in the academy until appearing for Castilla in the Segunda División and in 2007 he played in goal at Espanyol, Cádiz and Cartagena. His excellent last few seasons with the Catalan side saw him make his debut for the Spanish national team and he returned to Real Madrid in 2015.

In that first 2015/16 campaign the Whites secured the Undécima in Milan against Atlético. It was the start of a successful era that would see three Champions League trophies and four trophies in each of the next two seasons. Casilla was the goalkeeper for our team in the thrilling 2016 UEFA Super Cup in Trondheim, which Madrid clinched in extra time against Sevilla.

The goalkeeper concluded his spell at the club in the winter transfer window of the 2018/19 season, just after securing his tenth and final trophy as a Real Madrid player: the 2018 Club World Cup against Al Ain.
