DESCRIPCION

This school was created together with the Spanish NGO CESAL. The school is located in the Casa Virgen de Caacupé Centre of Promotion of Human Development, in the District of Itauguá, 35 km from Asunción. The centre provides a space for shelter, containment, formal and work education as well as healthcare depending on the needs of the participants, who are boys, girls and adolescents who are in high risk situations, some in conflict with the law.
 
Amongst the activities offered through the socio-sporting school, sports, recreational, educational, human value and nutritional aid workshops are held; as well as providing a school library and professional training service. The techniques used will be aimed at strengthening and complimenting the schooling of the participants, providing pedagogical support when necessary, avoiding school dropouts, instilling the importance of education, work, a sense of belonging in a community and respect for one's self and for others.
