Logista, one of Europe's largest logistics operators, has signed a partnership agreement with the Real Madrid Foundation in order to contribute to the sustainability of its weekly social sporting project at the APANID educational-assistance complex, as part of the Foundation's collaboration with the centres for children run by the Madrid Regional Government's Department of Family, Youth and Social Affairs.

The signing of the agreement was held in the auditorium at Real Madrid City during an event attended by Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations; Enrique Sánchez, Executive Vice-President of the Real Madrid City Foundation; Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo, Director of Human Resources, Marketing and Communication at Logista; Eva Imbernón, Director of Human Resources in Iberia and Poland at Logista, and Julio González Ronco, Managing Director of the Real Madrid Foundation.

Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo said: "We're proud to be collaborating with Real Madrid with the aim of integrating people with disabilities through sport and its universal values. It's an honour for us to be able to join forces with the most important sports brand in the world and, with this collaboration, we take another step forward in our social strategy which aims to create a positive impact on society and help people in need". Butragueño emphasised the importance of sport for everyone, helping the integration and normalisation of the children at this centre, who have special difficulties due to their disabilities.

Logista will contribute through this agreement to achieving the objectives set by the football and basketball sports school that the Real Madrid Foundation has set up in the residence's facilities.

The Hogar Residencia APANID is a project created for people with intellectual disabilities who began their sporting activity with the Real Madrid Foundation last year and forms part of its diversity projects, as well as the eight football and six basketball schools in 12 residences where it has been working on a weekly basis for more than 15 years, using sport with values as a tool for social integration.
