Real Madrid ambassador Álvaro Arbeloa awarded the diplomas to the seven coach-educators who took part in the Foundation's training course held at Real Madrid City. The coaches from the social and sporting projects in Romania, Hungary, Ukraine and the United Kingdom spent four days exchanging experiences on the development of the Foundation's methodology in their different schools. The oldest of these is the one developed with the Puskas Academy in Hungary, which incorporates children with and without risk of exclusion in the extracurricular activity in Felcsút.

The European projects have been impacted in recent seasons by the armed conflict in Ukraine, where they work with the collaboration of the NGO Epicentr for Children and the support of the supermarket chain Epicentr K. A number of their coaches were present at the training session and highlighted how the care of the children has been diversified with humanitarian and psychosocial help through the support of different organisations and institutions. In Romania, where the schools are developed in collaboration with the FDP -Protagonist in Education Foundation, children from Ukraine have also been integrated among the vulnerable youngsters being cared for.

A model for more than a decade
The methodology For a Real Education: Values and Sport is the basis of all the projects, programmes and social sports schools run by the Real Madrid Foundation around the world and the coaches from European projects have been a benchmark in its implementation for more than a decade. These training days offer new teaching tools to have a positive impact on the lives of the students, as they learn how to adapt the competition to educational purposes, apply special strategies to teach values during the training session and use the principles of the integrated training methodology to promote learning and motivation.

Full experience
The coaches were able to have a complete experience, with both theoretical and practical classes, taking part in the training sessions at the social sports schools in Madrid, but they also had the opportunity to go on the Tour Bernabéu and attend a match at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The days were especially enjoyed by the educators from the United Kingdom, where the Kinetic Foundation collaborates, thanks to the support of the UPS Foundation, and which held a social tournament last month that focused on the objective of employability.
