Europa

In Europe, and with the exception of Spain (where the largest number of projects are led), the Foundation's activity has increased every season for the past 20 years, thanks to the partnerships struck with multinational social, educational and sports organisations that seek common objectives and which enable each and every one of the socio-sporting schools to continue to run.

Collaborations with non-profit organisations and educational centres, schools or universities represent the basis of the social intervention that seeks to achieve the holistic development of the beneficiaries through the promotion of schooling and healthy habits and the prevention of marginal situations or harmful vices.

The socio-economic situation in Europe, which contrasts greatly to that in other continents, has its shortcomings and needs and socio-educational sport represents an ideal intervention tool to tackle them through the support of public-private partnerships.

The socio-sporting schools in Europe, which span the areas from Portugal to Russia, feature school-specific developments and shared socio-sporting activities, such as the Alma Cup, which is a sporting-cultural tournament that is of great benefit to those involved and see values take centre stage.
