Valencia-Real Madrid: La Liga kicks off

Real Madrid kick off their Liga 2023/24 campaign tonight against Valencia. After not playing the game against Betis last weekend due to the strike on the first matchday, the Whites will look to get off to a winning start when they visit the Antonio Puchades (9:00pm CEST).

There are five new players in the squad for this season: Chavas, Oihane, Bruun, Raso and Carla Camacho. The latter has come up to the first team from the reserve team. After the pre-season tour of Mexico, the team will try to get off to a good start in the championship. Toril has eight World Cup winners in the squad this year and three nominees for the 2023 Ballon d'Or: Olga, Raso and Linda Caicedo (who is also a candidate for The Best Award).
