PREVIEW. 06/05/2023. Rodrigo Salamanca
One of the dates marked on the calendar has arrived for Real Madrid, who fight for another title tonight. It could be the third of the season, after winning the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup. Our team takes on Osasuna in the final of the Copa del Rey at La Cartuja in Seville (10:00pm CET). Madrid have had a tough route to the final after beating Cacereño, Villarreal, Atlético and Barcelona in the previous knockout rounds.
Ancelotti's side play a Copa del Rey final in Seville for the first time and it will also be the first time they have played against Osasuna in a cup final. However, the two sides have met in previous Cup ties in the past, with Madrid having won all eight of their previous encounters.
The most recent meeting in the competition was in the last 16 of the 2013/14 season. In that edition Real Madrid won their last Copa del Rey against Barcelona with Ancelotti on the bench. The final at Mestalla was the Italian's first title with our club and the start of a legendary career as a Real Madrid coach.

Vini Jr (3) and Rodrygo (2) have also been key players in the cup this season.
