As a way of engaging with Real Madrid fans during these decisive match days, the Real Madrid Foundation is once again holding a charity auction of jerseys signed by the players. It will be run via the MatchWornShirt online platform and the proceeds will contribute to the sustainability of the Foundation's socio-sporting projects.
The jerseys on auction have been signed by current Real Madrid players like Kroos and Carvajal and Madrid legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo and Bale. The auction will run until Tuesday 9 May at 2pm (CET), the day of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.
The Foundation's socio-sports projects to which the proceeds are earmarked serve socially disadvantaged groups at risk of exclusion, such as people with disabilities, children in hospital, the homeless, the unemployed, prisoners, the elderly and anyone at risk of vulnerability.
