Two years after winning their second European Cup, Real Madrid would take the title once again, securing the ultimate continental title for the third time on 1 April 1967. Pedro Ferrándiz's team beat Olimpia Milan 91-83 in the final, which was played in Madrid.
Despite the potential of the Italian team, who were reigning champions at the time, Madrid took the victory in a game that was 45-45 at half-time and in which Emiliano, with 29 points, and Aiken, with 23, were outstanding. Our team confirmed its hegemony in Europe by winning the title, as this meant they had won three of the last four editions of the competition.
91-Real Madrid: J. R. Ramos (4), Emiliano (29), McIntyre (14), Aiken (23), Luyk (17) - Sainz (0), Monsalve (2) and Sevillano (2).
