'You'll never walk alone' rings out around the Bernabéu at the end of the game

Following the final whistle in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash at the Santiago Bernabéu, the usual Real Madrid anthem was replaced on the loudspeakers by You´ll never walk alone. This was Real Madrid's way of repaying the classy gesture made by Liverpool ahead of the meeting at Anfield. The Reds presented a bouquet of flowers to the stand housing the madridista fans, in tribute to our dear honorary president Amancio Amaro, who had passed away that morning.
