Real Madrid returned to LaLiga just as they left off before the international break; with a win. The team coached by Alberto Toril began a very demanding March with three points in their visit to Alhama. Our team dominated the game from start to finish and picked up their thirteenth consecutive win in the competition thanks to goals from Weir, M. Oroz, Athenea, Esther and an own goal. Linda played her first few minutes as a Madrid player.
Everything went right at the start of the first half. Zornoza slipped a pass behind the defence, which Weir took advantage of to make it 1-0 and beat Laura with a beautiful lob (3'). The Scot had another chance soon after, but her shot was just inches wide. Toril's team's dominance increased as the minutes went by and M. Oroz managed to extend the lead after a good assist from Esther in the 21st minute. However, Alhama were able to react and made it 2-1 through Kuki in the 41st minute. But Madrid responded in the next move: Athenea made it 3-1 when she took advantage of a mistake by the home keeper.

Linda's debut
After the break, the Murcian side came out all guns blazing with the intention of pulling one back. They almost did so in the 55th minute when Kuki's header was cleared off the line by Zornoza. However, Toril's side held off the Alhama push and made it 4-1 after an hour's play. Weir pulled back a pass to Esther, whose shot was cleared off the line by Laura; in the second attempt, the Granada player collected the rebound and managed to score at her own pleasure. The second half also saw Linda's first few moments since signing for the club; the Colombian came on for M. Oroz in the 75th minute and almost marked her first participation with a goal, but her shot went wide. In the closing stages, Toril's side made it 5-1 with an own goal from Nerea.
