Real Madrid plays the second of three games this week. Following the win against Valencia Basket at La Fonteta, the team will be looking to conclude the Euroleague double-header with another win over Partizan Belgrade. Chus Mateo's team are playing the round ten match at the WiZink Center aiming to extend the winning run and record the fifth consecutive victory in the Euroleague (8:45pm CET).
Our team is up against one of the historic teams in European basketball. The two teams haven't met since 28 February 2014. Back then, Madrid managed to beat the team from Belgrade (80-57). Their head-to-head record is very much in Real Madrid's favour (14-2), with eight wins at home against tonight's opponents.

Chus Mateo's team has a picked up six wins and lost three in the Euroleague so far, while Partizan's record is 4-5. Our team is averaging 82.3 points per game and the visitors 82.8. Partizan strength in attack is their outside shooting, where they are the second best team in the Euroleague (39.7% success rate in three-pointers). There, they have good players like Punter, Nunnally, Andjusic and Exum.
Battle on the paint
Another key area will be on the paint and the battle between Lessort and Tavares. The Frenchman is his team's best player with an average of 12.2 points and 21.4 PIR. The Madrid centre is averaging 6.2 rebounds and 15.9 PIR in the nine games played. Another player to highlight for Partizan is Leday, but our team has more than enough power in the area, such as Deck and Poirier. Additionally, Musa comes into the game on the back of his brilliant performance against Valencia Basket (28 points and 32 PIR).
