0-0: Modrić's Croatia draws with Morocco

The Real Madrid man played all 90 minutes in his fourth World Cup.
The Croatia national team, captained by Luka Modrić, got the Qatar World Cup started with a draw against Morocco. The Real Madrid midfielder played the full 90 minutes and came close to scoring. He struck a fierce shot from outside the box at the end of the first half that sailed just over the crossbar. The score remained level, however, and the game ended in a draw.
Modrić played his first game in his fourth World Cup, as Croatia earned their first point in Group F. The next match for the reigning World Cup runners-up is against Canada (Sunday 27, 5pm CET), before they face Courtois and Hazard's Belgium (Thursday 1, 4pm).
