“The team’s feeling good and we’re in good form”, said Weir.
Alberto Toril and Caroline Weir spoke in the press conference ahead of the Chelsea-Real Madrid clash, on matchday three of the Women´s Champions League. The madridista coach had the following to say: “The team is feeling confident and looking forward to the game. After the international break, we want to return to the competition and keep our good run going. We’re up for it and hope we can put on a good display”.

“Chelsea are a great side and they’ve got a great record in the Champions League and the league. But we’re going to fight and make life difficult for them. We’ve got top players and it’ll be a great game”.

Maturity

“It's a very short competition and we’ve only played six matches so far. We know how important the points are and it's not just another game. We will approach it with maturity and the players have to show character”.

Weir: “It’ll be a big test”

“We’re excited to be here and it’ll be a big test. The team’s feeling good and we’re in good form. Chelsea are a good team, who I’ve played against several times. They have plenty of experience, their players are very physical and they’re doing well in the league”.
