The Real Madrid Foundation, in compliance with the corresponding Organic Law, registered its First Equality Plan last February, after the Equality Commission, composed of representatives from the squad and the management, had conducted its work. The plan reflects and ratifies the Real Madrid Foundation's principles and values since its beginnings, which are opposed to any form of discrimination. These recognise the effort, dedication, quality and teamwork of the men and women who make up the Foundation's staff, without distinction.
The Foundation has become a member of the Excellence in Management Club, a clear commitment to excellence, innovation and sustainability as a fundamental objective and the core of the organisation's activities around the world, with the final goal of helping to create a better society.
EFQM 300+ Seal
The Excellence in Management Club is the single official representative of the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) in Spain. The club promotes the use of the EFQM Quality Model as a means of transformation, training, advising and acknowledging excellent forward-looking organisations. In 2019, AENOR and the Excellence in Management Club granted the Foundation the EFQM 300+ seal.
Promoting sport education and its values
Both of these initiatives fit in with the Real Madrid Foundation's mission and vision since it was founded, almost 25 years ago, as an organisation which promotes sports education and the values attached to it. It is dedicated to serving society, particularly the most vulnerable, using excellence, innovation and sustainability at its core.
