The Real Madrid captain continues to make history with our team. Against Alba Berlin, Sergio Llull made his 900th appearance in a madridista jersey, becoming the second all-time appearance-maker behind Felipe Reyes (1,046). Over the course of his 16 seasons, Llull has cemented his legendary reputation at the club and is now one of the basketball section's all-time greats. He has lifted 22 trophies to date: 2 Euroleagues, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 6 League titles, 6 Copas del Rey and 7 Spanish Super Cups.
Llull has been a key man for Real Madrid throughout what has been one of the club's most successful eras. Since arriving in the 2006-07 campaign at just 19 years old, he continued to grow and reflect the madridista values, leading him to be named the best player in Europe in 2017. On an individual level, the Menorca-born ace has been voted Euroleague MVP, ACB League MVP, Intercontinental Cup MVP, two-time MVP in the Copa del Rey, 3- time MVP in the Super Cup and 2-time MVP in the ACB League finals. He has also been included in the Euroleague Best Five, and made the ACB Best Five on three occasions.

Of his 900 games, 327 have come in the Euroleague, a competition where he boasts more wins 229 than any other madridista and is the club's leading scorer, assist-maker and three-point shooter. In the league, he has totalled 417 wins in 517 games and also tops Real Madrid's all-time figures for assists and triples. His remaining games are 33 Copa del Rey appearances, 21 in the Super Cup and 2 in the Intercontinental Cup.
But the captain is far more than just a great player, he is the embodiment of all Real Madrid stands for. His courage, passion and commitment make him truly unique. At 34 years of age, having come back from a serious knee injury which kept him off the court for almost a year, his competitive edge means he continues to add to his legendary status at our club.
