The Spanish pavilion at the Expo Dubai 2020, which opened its doors on 10 October, will this week feature the coaches and coordinators from the Real Madrid Foundation’s Training Department in recognition of the organisation’s status as a world leader in values-based sports education.
The Real Madrid Foundation’s adapted training and sports coordinators, Adrian Silla and Eider Marín, are set to lead a series of practical training activities this evening that combine sporting activity with positive values, before taking part in two round-table discussions on Wednesday and Thursday as part of the education and innovation week. Meanwhile, one of the Real Madrid Foundation’s mascots, Valorgol, will welcome all of the visitors to the Spanish pavilion at the Expo Dubai 2020.
Meanwhile, the over 8,000 daily visitors to the Spanish pavilion will be shown the Real Madrid Foundation’s omnichannel eLearning platform, Values Academy TV, which is the first and one edutainment channel that combines values and sport and it recently landed the Top Developer Award.
Educational methodology & socio-sporting projects
The Real Madrid Foundation’s presence through its content platform and activities at the Expo Dubai 2020 represents a landmark event and an opportunity to share the Foundation’s educational methodology and socio-sporting projects with the thousands of visitors that attend this universal event.
Projects & programmes
The Real Madrid Foundation runs over 650 education, inclusion and international development cooperation projects and programmes in 80 countries across the five continents and caters for over 65,000 individuals, the majority of whom are at risk from social exclusion or disadvantage. The Foundation works in collaboration with NGOs, educational organisations and governmental bodies to use the social and media power of football and basketball in social outreach tools to contribute towards the Sustainable Development Objectives within the Agenda 2030 and provide a better future through sport.
