Sportech is back at the Real Madrid Foundation's experience campuses

The Oliver technology, which will be a technological partner until 2023, drives technical improvement.

The Oliver sportech device will remain a part of the Real Madrid Foundation's experience campuses until 2023, following the renewal of the partnership agreement with the digital platform. Following the successful experience at last summer's high performance camps with Oliver, the partnership with the platform has been extended to provide the best technical training experience for every player taking part. "The first experience was very rewarding for all parties, coaches benefit from the technology, players learn more about their abilities and parents receive an automated report" said José González Ruzo, CEO of Oliver.
The Oli smart device, attached to the shin pads, collects data from each player through a multitude of sensors and sends it via GPS to an artificial intelligence and big data app on the Oliver digital platform, which provides key information about each player's performance in real time. This information enables players to improve their performance, measure their progress and develop the most relevant aspects of their talent, as well as providing data that allows them to effectively prevent injuries.
According to Joaquin Sagués, CEO of Campus Experience, "the extension of the agreement represents an increase in the quality of training, incorporating technology, innovation and precision to the technical improvement and high performance programmes offered by Real Madrid Foundation's Campus Experience". An extensive array of football metrics and performance improvement recommendations are automatically sent to the platform and can be viewed, downloaded and analysed by players, coaches and parents through mobile phones and the web.
The Real Madrid Foundation's High Performance Experience Campuses deliver technical improvement to boys and girls from 9 to 17 years of age belonging to a football club; highly-qualified training sessions to improve individual skills and increase the technical level in football practice. This programme for 2022 will start on 19 June and run until 27 August, taking place in different sports facilities, such as Real Madrid City in Valdebebas or the Villaviciosa de Odón municipal football pitches.
