Nahikari was on target for Real Madrid, who had chances to claim the win.

Real Madrid picked up a point at home against Alavés in a match in which they had chances to win, hitting the crossbar twice. Real Madrid found themselves behind early on as in the 3rd minute, Alba got on the end of a ball inside the area to make it 0-1. Despite going behind, our team controlled possession and began to create chances. Esther was the first to try her luck with a well-struck shot. Nahikari then released a low shot that the opposing goalkeeper kept out. The Whites' insistence paid off in the 32nd minute as Zornoza delivered a good cross which Nahikari headed home.

Either side could have gone in in front, but it was all square at the break. After the restart, Esther came very close to clinching a goal but her shot went just over. Teresa also came close with a header, but the ball ended up in Cris' hands. The best chances of the second half came fifteen minutes from time, two good efforts from Esther and Athenea which both hit the woodwork. Real Madrid went in search of the winning goal, but the game ended 1-1. David Aznar's side have now gone four league games unbeaten and picked up another point ahead of the international break.
