0-2: Benzema on target as France overcome Finland

NEWS STORY. 16/11/2021

The madridista, who entered the fray in the 55th minute, netted his national team's opening goal.

Karim Benzema's goalscoring exploits show no sign of letting up. The Real Madrid frontman, who found the net three times during the current international window following his brace against Kazakhstan, broke the deadlock in France's 2-0 away success over Finland.

Benzema came on in the 55th minute and just 10 minutes later set his team on the way to victory as he netted for a fourth consecutive international outing, a feat he previously managed in the 2013/14 campaign and that no other French player has managed. In the 75th minute, Mbappé rounded off victory for France, who had already booked their ticket for the Qatar World Cup in the previous matchday.
