Casemiro chalks up 200th Real Madrid win

The Brazilian, who has lifted 14 trophies with the club, reached the landmark in his 296th appearance.

Casemiro recorded his 200th win in a Real Madrid shirt in the meeting with Shakhtar at Kiev’s Olympic Stadium. The midfielder reaches the milestone after having clocked up 296 appearances, which have yielded four Champions League crowns, three Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and LaLiga titles apiece, a Copa del Rey and a pair of Spanish Super Cups.

The Brazilian made his debut on 20 April 2013 in the win over Betis at the Bernabéu and has gone on to play his part in wins in LaLiga (137), the Champions League (41), the Copa del Rey (11), the Club World Cup (six), the Spanish Super Cup (three) and the UEFA Super Cup (two). His best season in terms of victories was the 2016/17 campaign, in which he featured in 32 wins.
