“We have to keep an eye on Valencia taking the second balls in offense", added the madridista coach.
Pablo Laso spoke to the club's official media channels in the build-up to Valencia Basket-Real Madrid, on Endesa League matchday five (Sunday, 6:30pm CEST). The madridista boss commented: “We know it's going to be a tough game and we have to move on mentally because in less than 48 hours we're up against another top side away from home".
“Valencia have a new coach and have changed their style. They're aggressive with the ball. They're without some big players but they have options at point guard with Dubljevic, Pradilla, Rivero and Labeyre. They also have real strength with Claver and Puerto, giving them solidity and versatility”.
Second balls
“The opposition will look to get Dubljevic open because he's a huge threat from the outside, and he gets under the post too, it's difficult to defend against. The fact they can play both inside and outside gives them second and third balls in offense. We have to be watch out for that”.
