Eli John Ndiaye made his Real Madrid first team debut at the age of 17 years and 2 months, becoming the 17th youth player to do so with Pablo Laso on in charge. The power forward, who is a member of the junior team, played 1 minute and 27 seconds and contributed 1 rebound in the Super Cup final victory over Barça in Tenerife.
