Asllani representing Sweden at Olympic Games

The Madrid forward's country will take on Australia in the semi-finals.
Asllani is currently representing Sweden at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.  The forward's team will take on Australia in the semi-finals after beating Japan in the quarter-finals. The semi-finals will be played next Monday, 2 August, at 1pm.

Australia-Sweden (Monday, 2 August, 1pm)

Asllani's Sweden, who are still unbeaten in the tournament, will look to progress to the final in the match against Australia, havning already beaten them in the group stage.
Sweden-Japan (3-1)

Asllani sealed Sweden's victory over Japan by converting a penalty. The forward played 89 minutes before being substituted.

Asllani helped Sweden overcome New Zealand in their final game of the group stages. The Swedish team had previously beaten Australia at Saitama Stadium in their second outing at the Games with the forward completing the full 90 minutes. In their opening match, the Swedes saw off the USA in Tokyo, where she also played the full match.
