"We've got a lot of players who are capable of contributing and are delighted to be in the final", commented the point/shooting guard.
On the eve of the first match of the Endesa League final series against Barcelona at the WiZink Center (18:30 h, #Vamos), Llull spoke to the press and commented that: “What has brought us this far is the competitive spirit within the team. When this team is really up against it is when we show our character, our desire to do things properly and to keep on winning and battling for silverware. We're Real Madrid and we don't want any excuses. It hasn't been an easy season, but we've got a big roster and many players are capable of contributing good things. We're really pleased to be in the final”.

“It'll be a really hard-fought contest. We're two very good teams and each of us have our strengths and weaknesses. I'm not going to tell you what they are because that would be giving them an advantage and I'm going to keep what we’ve prepared for the final itself. In this final everything plays its part:  tactical elements, the shape that the team is in and even the small details… they’re a very physical team and they play to the limit in defence and we'll have to match that toughness”.

His fitness
“I'm in perfect shape and am raring to help the team. Playing against Valencia wasn't any sort of sacrifice for me. Despite it being a semi-final, I did it to help the team. I enjoy playing, I hate being injured, and recently have spent a lot of time on the sidelines and I really don't enjoy that. I came into the game without having trained and virtually without having run in a whole week, but it was normal that I was with the team and gave my all to achieve the aim”.

Fans’ return
“I'm delighted to have the fans back. It's been really tough for us. Basketball is a sport that involves emotions and we've rediscovered that magic in an arena full of fans, be it at home or on the road. It’s  a step towards a return to normality. The important thing is our health and we hope that the situation changes as quickly as possible and that more fans are able to attend games”.

Pau Gasol
“If it’s as if he's a young lad. He’s performing to a really high standard and has shown the leadership and competitive spirit he brings to the team in these games”.
