The Foundation puts on first online training course for coaches in Equatorial Guinea

The social sports school helps over 80 vulnerable children in collaboration with the Salesian Missions.
The coaches at the Real Madrid Foundation's social sports school in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) received the first online training session by the Foundation's Training Department. The main aim was to get to grips with the digital communication system which provides added value in their continuous training and allows coaches to adapt to the circumstances caused by the pandemic which make travel impossible. The sporting coordination staff for the project took part in this course, alongside the school's coaches and social assistants, who run a large part of the education in sports and values and are in constant contact with the students.
The social sports school began its activities in 2019 and is run at the Don Bosco school in Malabo thanks to the Real Madrid Foundation's partnership with the Salesian Missions, with whom they have been working for 10 years to help more than 80 vulnerable children. Sporting activity is complemented by extra schooling. nutritional support and work with the families, which forms an essential part of improving their social conditions.
Just like in national schools, the activities in this particular school take place with limits on capacity and all follow the established healthcare protocols including the use of masks during school time, disinfecting hands prior to taking to the pitch or undertaking any other school activities. while participants also have their temperature taken before entering the sports complex.
