Modric and Varane make it 50 Champions League wins with Real Madrid

They reached the milestone after beating Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Alfredo Di Stéfano.
Real Madrid beat Borussia Mönchengladbach to clinch their place in the last-sixteen. In the clash with the German side, Varane and Modrić both recorded their 50th Champions League victory for the club. The Croatian reaches the milestone in his ninth season in Madrid having made 80 appearances in the continental competition. He made his Champions League debut for Real Madrid on 18 September 2012 against Manchester City (3-2) and has lifted the club's last four Champions League trophies.

Varane boasts the same number of European Cups in his trophy cabinet. The French centre-back is in his 10th season at the club and has also brought up his 50th Champions League victory. His first appearance came on 27 September 2011 in the 3-0 win over Ajax and he has also made 80 madridista appearances in the continent's top competition.
